Balinese Massage in Delhi
What is Balinese massage?
Balinese massage also called Balinese, originated in Bali, Indonesia. Strongly influenced by Indian, Chinese and Indonesian culture, the Balinese massage technique is a mixture of softness and tonicity, with the goal of intense physical and mental relaxation.
Like many other Asian-influenced massages, Indonesian massage focuses on the body’s many energy points to stimulate the circulation of blood, oxygen and, therefore, energy: the “qi”. Balinese massage, however, is not suitable for relieving localized physical pain; it is part of the so-called Ayurvedic practices based on the concept of energy and the harmonization of the mind and body in its entirety.
Traditionally there is no standard Balinese massage because practices can differ according to culture, this massage is the result of a word of mouth that is distributed in the almost 18,000 islands of Indonesia.
How do you develop an Indonesian massage session?
Different methods of reflexology, acupressure and aromatherapy make up Balinese massage.
In practice, the person being massaged will be invited to remove all or part of their clothes and lean on a massage table or mattress on the floor. The first part of the session will be conducted by a series of kneadings, percussion and pressure along the meridians on the entire elongated body. The goal is to stimulate and open the main energy points to relax the body and mind.
The hands run along the meridians of the body with more or less long exploration movements, and the higher the pressure applied, the faster the massage will be effective in the process of regeneration and harmonization of the body and mind.
Balinese massage therapy is often associated with aromatherapy to awaken the senses of the person being massaged. The use of scented massage oil in generous quantities is part of the good functioning of Balinese massage because it helps relaxation and makes it easier to withstand the strong pressures. Generally the massage oil is perfumed with a few drops of essential oils for an intoxicating massage. Beware, the essential oils are not intended to be applied directly to the skin and that is why they need to be mixed.
The spread of essential oil in the room is acclaimed by many therapists to accentuate the feeling of relaxation and create an enveloping atmosphere.
The second part of the massage takes place as a phase of awakening, the massaged person is invited to sit down and a soft stretching is performed all over the body to release the energies.
A Balinese massage session usually lasts an hour, but again cultural differences in practice can shorten or lengthen this duration.
